I've made this post mostly for redflame_86, so that she doesnt feel too lame about being so excited about her Hoover. I got Samantha here for Christmas, assembled her myself, and i LOVE her :). I guess that this doesnt make you any less lame, but it does mean you arent the ONLY lame one :)

Ours hasn't got a name yet, but it did do the entire house as its christening.....
Nice to know I'm not the only saddo that can get excited about domestic thingies. My excitement was mostly fuelled by the fact that we've been waiting for this damn hoover for almost three months, so you can imagine how dusty and spidery the house was getting. Not anymore though!!!
You're a real sweetie!

Date: 2007-02-02 07:19 pm (UTC)I had just vacuumed before Christmas, and when we came home from our families, I assembled it and vacuumed again, just for fun. Turns out our old vacuum really sucked (or didnt...), as I pulled up three canisters full of dirt and nastiness! So very very gross :S
I love being domestic. I'm cleaning our bedroom right now so that when Travis comes home on Sunday, he'll have a nice place to relax, and I've stocked the fridge with beer and snacks just for him for the game. It's a ball.
Thank you! I think you're pretty neat too. :)
