I was thinking myself that it maybe sounded like gall-bladder problems....but I wasn't sure how long the "attacks" last for you. In my case, it was the most extreme pain I've ever felt (with no relief!! ick!) and the episodes would last for an hour or more.
While neither option is fun, and I would give you only happy internal organs if I could, both options here are certainly manageable!! Glad to hear that it's nothing super super super icky.
