(no subject)

Two posts in one day. The excitement you must be feeling.

So, theres this big Halloween party we're going to the first weekend in November. The theme is Nightmare Before Christmas, and Trav and I need to come up with costumes. We really really really dont want to be Jack and Sally, because for the love of heaven, everyone will be Jack and Sally...and...well, I dont think we could pull it off.

Some help, please?

Griffin and I play the Nightmare Before Christmas TCG and I've gotten to know the characters pretty well through the game. The website has a cardlist and you can look through the characters to see if there's any you'd like to be that aren't as obvious as Jack and Sally:

The duce you say! There is a rave on the 4th I was going to try to talk you into going to. Ah well.

I think you guys should go as Gomez and Morticia Addams. You could find a long slinky black dress, a cheap long black wig and walk with little shuffle steps...and Travis could gnaw on a cigar, wear a suit, slick his hair back and grab you throughout the night and smooch up along your arm telling you how crazy you drive him.

OR you could do Mickey and Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers.
OR wear your 1920's shoes and outfit, put Travis in a fedora, find toy tommyguns and be Bonnie & Clyde.
OR Travis could be Captain Kirk and you could dress as some sexy alien chick he's seducing.
James Band and a Bond Girl?
Austin Powers and Vanessa Kensington/Felicity Shagwell/Foxxy Cleopatra?
Herman and Lily Munster?

You could be slightly sneaky and go as the main characters from The Corpse Bride (which is similar enough) and fitting, too, since you guys are newlyweds.
